The write-downs of goodwill and other intangible assets in the Performance Polymers and Performance Chemicals segments in fiscal 2013 mainly comprised impairment charges recognized on the Keltan Elastomers, High Performance Elastomers and Rubber Chemicals cash-generating units as a result of the respective impairment tests.
